The Center was built as an addition to the Radiation therapy with a connection under the road, and is also an independently working functional unit.
The upstairs departments are not ready yet, their completion is estimated in 2017. The core of the ambulant part on the ground floor are the two linear accelerator bunkers. The architectural philosophy is to show a 21st century modern ’spaceship’, which transmits that the modern, rapidly evolving medical science is able to heal the patient. The central lightroom is a bright residence with a positive atmosphere, that is also protected from eyes on the outside.
